Caring for children, building futures
From our corner in the Milton community, Ebenezer has an international impact. Beat The Drum Village in Kenya gives children orphaned by HIV/AIDS a loving home and raises them to enjoy a bright future. Under the leadership of Bishop David Thagana, the village provides education, healthcare, and—most importantly—hope.
Ebenezer's connection to Beat The Drum began through a film project by our own David McBrayer, and has grown into a lasting partnership. Today, we help support 33 children as they grow, learn, and thrive.
All children at the village attend school as required. Education is central to Beat The Drum's mission, giving each child the foundation they need for a brighter future.
The village provides ongoing healthcare for all children, ensuring they receive the medical attention and support they need to thrive.
Recent renovations to the dining and kitchen areas have improved safety, boosted energy efficiency, and modernized the facilities where the children live and gather.
Beyond physical needs, Beat The Drum provides a loving community where children are cared for, encouraged, and given hope for the future.
Your generous donations directly support the children at Beat The Drum Village. Every contribution helps provide meals, education supplies, healthcare, and facility improvements that make a real difference in these children's lives.
